Canon Point: 3rd Volume, after the Robotica Wars
Sex/Gender: Female
Actual Age/Apparent Age: Zoda = 19 (December 13th), her inner reincarnation is as old as existence.

Appearance:
Zoda - As a human girl herself she looks very human in nature. Native American Apache crossed with Scottish descendants. She’s got long raven black hair with bright green eyes, pale but tanish colored skin. She’s around 5 foot 4 inches tall, and very, very light weighted, even for her size.

The Raven Mocker - This is simply her Raven like headdress and wings, all hand made with leather and feathers. The wings attach to her wrists and arms with leather straps, the head is a large mask and headdress. PICTURE & PICTURE HERE

Raven - A Rather large looking normal like black Raven.

Xon - The Goddess of Grace and Dark that lives inside her mind and body. When too much has happened to Zoda, or when the girl needs help, the Goddess Xon will take over the host body to protest her. Her eyes go a light purple and glow, her entire body feels taller, stronger, larger and heavier. Other than that there isn’t much difference in the bodys.
(Xon will not make an appearance unless desperately needed for RP reasons)

World:
Brief History of Nam’o’las:
Nam’o’las is a mythical realm hidden away in its own time and space. It is unknown how large the planet is but is made up of two large land masses and many of small islands. It rotates around a single sun and has three moons. The calendar year is slightly shorter than an earth year, having only 7 months but longer hours in a day. It’s orbit is nearly perfect in circumference, making the seasons light and change easily.

The main lands of Nam’o’las are made up of grasslands, plains, forests, high lands and a mountain in the center of it all. The landscapes seem to change abruptly when they do transition to one from the other. It has kingdoms in the North and the South. The north lands are colder and have fewer people, the South lands are warmer with a larger and more prosperous kingdom, though the towns are spread out in long distances. The South Kingdom is the largest of the two. There are several large and smaller clusters of islands scattered through the seas that are not ruled by anyone.

Creatures of all types can be found here, as well as humans, gods and mythical beings. This is a land where old Gods go to rest, New Gods are born and dispatched to the other worlds, and creatures, monsters under the bed, and hunted animals go to escape. Animals both talk and don’t talk, depending on their level of intelligence and birth rights.

There are many small town and villages scattered through the lands, most of which are simple with very little technology. Back in the early ages, technology was outlawed and most robotics, machines or other mechanical things were banned from all towns. Those caught with mechanical things that didn’t run off natural energy or had an AI were locked away and their properties stripped from them. Technology became such a lost piece of history that most people nowadays don’t even know what a toaster is.

That is until the Robotica Queen decided to return to the planet, descending on the world in order to raise up the machines and take back the lands. While secretly a group of Robotica have lived among the creatures in peace, hiding their robotic state with their new human appearances, with the Queen's return their minds were slowly taken over by her. Peaceful people suddenly turned deadly in every town. A war was starting, slowly. Not only was a War between the living and the Robotica beginning, but a battle between the Free Robotica, untouched by the Queen's control and those under her control, as well as those who didn’t believe in the Robotica.

In short, the war was a mess. Many villages were destroyed, thousands of lives lost. The Chosen Warrior was called from the Earth Lands, through the door with the ruby knob and brought to help fight. He was young and unknowing, escaping the tyrant of an abusive father. He thought he was running away but he was summoned, called by the oracles and the elders to bring peace to the lands. The Chosen one found friends on the way, building a team of warriors to battle the Queen and bring peace to the lands again.

Though the Queen was defeated, the people of Nam’o’las were still untrusting of the Robotica, thus leaving them to build their own city off at a distance, in the lands no one cared for. There the Robotica built huge technological cities, concentrated in one small location. When the location was all taken up and they couldn’t built out any farther in land, they built farther out into the waters and underground.

When the war was over, the Chosen one returned home to the Earth lands leaving Nam’o’las on its own. Time went by and the Chosen Warrior made a few trips back, but nothing was ever as messed up as it was that first time.

Skills and Powers:
Because she is the body of the Goddess of Grace and Dark, Zoda has a few nice talents to help her through tough spots. A natural talent is her movements, something that won't change in the Library. She moves with grace, seeming to be lighter than a normal human, almost bird like. Her footsteps are light and when she jumps from high places she almost seems like she moves slower through the air, and will almost always land like a feather. In the Library, she might land a bit more heavy, like a normal human, but even then she’s extra light feeling.

Because of the Goddess inside she has control over Darkness and in some ways over Gravity as well. A bit like a black hole, absolute dark can be powerful. She has the power to control darkness and shadows, pulling it around her as needed or banishing it. She can bring a film of dark around one's eyes to blind them, or around a person in general to make them feel the pressure of dark closing in on them.

Like a black hole she can sometimes collect light through dark, grabbing it and holding it in a pocket of dark, not choking it but keeping it, so she can release it later as needed. It doesn’t stay with her long though, as light isn’t absolute. In this she can also put out lightbulbs and flames, darkening them until they no longer glow.

As for gravity she uses it to fight, for the most part, and a little bit of manipulation of gravy will wear her out, so she doesn’t do it much. She can push through, and with out touching a person, she can send them flying with a shift of gravity towards them.

Her fighting style is home taught by the Ilf Elders, a style that was passed down from generation to generation. The style is graceful and sleek, long legs but low to the ground movements, like a bird. The style is a lot of kicking as well as work with staffs and spears. Looping, spinning motions that add force to hits. Her instructor was called a Ma-Su.

In the Library, with so much of her power suppressed, she’s down to just her natural fighting talent while inside the Library. Which is fine, as she doesn’t use her other inner powers much at all. She might feel a bit heavier, and won't blend into the shadows as well and can’t dim or steal light. That will be her only frustration is the light thing.

Other skills: She knows a few languages, she’s good with animals, especially birds. She is a fisher and a hunter and good with sewing things for herself. She enjoys to draw but isn’t very good at it.

Bookmark Description:
Her bookmark will simply look like a small tablet (or a large phone) that has a black raven case cover on it. She will recognize it but also know that she had never had something like it before.

History and Personality:
The history of this character can get a bit long, but so not to bore you with the heavy details, I will be hitting upon the major plot points. A lot of information can be found here one a write up page I have made before.

For one, she was born of earth, abused by being ignored or beaten. The general story of a man who lost everything the day she was born. Her mother was a pagan and worshiped the old gods, so when the Goddess of Grace and Dark, from the Nam’o’las lands came to her requesting the body of her soon to be born child, she gave it to her. A sacrifice had to be made though, and her life was given for the child's. Zoda’s father, racked with grief and resentment, never cared for the child, feeling his lover and child were both dead. He kept her though, but he hated her.

Because of this she has grown up alone which made her stronger, but also a bit standoffish and bitter. She was a bit of a dark kid, brooding and didn’t start to talk far past the age that a child should. When she was a pre-teen they moved to America, and the only reason she went at all was because her father had a sense of mild responsibility for the child, or mostly that she was just there.

While in Chicago she grew up on the streets, alone for the most part, going home just to rest and sleep. She was a bit gothic and a bit of an unknown to most people. She didn’t make friends well and for the most part felt like she wasn’t in her right home. everything felt uncomfortable to her. This made her more standoffish and a loner than ever before.

One night when her father lost control he nearly beat the life out of her, opening up the Goddess within for the first time. Nox, taking over the child's body, opened a Ruby Handled Door and took the child ‘home’ to the Nam’o’las lands. Leaving the child in the forest she was found bloody and beaten by an Ilf boy named Roonie, who took her home to the elders to be treated.

Because of the Ilf and their kindness a wild lonely child grew up kind and wanting to be helpful, feeling the need to find and help others. She grew up much more caring and stronger for it. Though she is a human and not Ilf she still feels as if she is part of their tribe of people. Roonie also became her most trusted and best friend.

From there on out she became more caring and wise, cunning and smart, adventurous and outgoing. Like she had found her true calling or even her true home. A simple thing as home and caring people helped to make her feel more at ease with herself, which in turned helped her open up some of her powers.

She never uses her powers for bad, only to help. She learned to fight without her powers, and with. As she aged she slowly matured into a beautiful fighter, full of grace and talent. She has a great sense of honor and ethics and does not like to have to take a life if she doesn’t have to, though she has, in desperate times.

Upon the first coming of the Chosen One, the reincarnation of the All Father, the world changed a bit, and the young boy only known as Gil was brought to the Purple Grasslands and set upon a journey to find the old Sage Master Julian and find his way home. On this adventure he met with Zoda and her small band of friends, who helped in the epic adventure, saving the people, finding the old Master and learning that the Robotica Queen was staging an uprising, which they foiled as a team.

Through all of this Zoda learned to work as a team for the greater good. She and her friends were dubbed the Warriors of Nam’o’las and Saviours. When Gil left in the end, she took it upon herself to watch after his friends that he left behind. She grew a strong sense of responsibility at this point, as well as a realization that she might have fallen for Roonie, her best friend.

As time went on the Robotica Queen was found to be alive and raising up again. Some of their friends were taken, villages over ran. The Chosen One was brought back to the lands, but he had aged, no longer a child anymore. He grew up and had forgotten everything. Thought of the place as if it were a dream. A child's imagination. It took some time to bring him back to reality; to bring his memories back to what he was and what he had done here.

Zoda was resentful for a while, because not only did he get to go home and return, but he forgot all of them. The people he loved and left were forgotten to him. For a while she was hateful to the Chosen One, now going by his real name of Jack Oden Adams. It showed that she can hold a grudge for a while, but is also forgiving once Jack started to accept things and remember.

The story ends with the group banding together again, finding their friends, fighting the robotica queen and destroying her once and forall (or so they hope). Jack left again, returning home once more and the lands were left to pick themselves up after a great war. no one trusted Robotica though, and they were left to build their own city in a place that no one cared about anyhow, away from the mainland and the non robotic beings.

This brings me to Zoda’s current arc, around about the time I will be bringing her into the game.

Winning the war was just the start though. With the Robotica Queen down, many Robotica were left to wander, their coding broken and honor code out the window. Months after the war, while trying to help fix and rebuild different kingdoms and towns, Zoda, Roonie and Crotter were taken captive by several ‘savage robotica’. These near tribal androids were obsessed with regaining their human looks, kidnapping fleshbags and harvesting them for their skins, capturing creatures to use as hair and clothing.

Zoda, drugged, shocked and kept in a constant state of delusion was unable to call upon her other half, held in a cage and left to starve, to make it easier to reap her skin. She watched as her two friends were killed, breaking her heart and will. Enraged by the death of the ones she loved she engulfed the entire island of Robotica in darkness, devouring them slowly in madness. The young woman fell in the end, alone in a cage.

The explosion of Darkness got the attention of those at the Seaside Port, bringing Cern and Snotwalla (Two other Warriors of Nam’o’las) to investigate. Finding only Zoda and not a single other form on the island, they freed her of the cage and collar, treated her wounds and brought her home. Cern, in many ways, was in love with Zoda, but knows her heart belongs elsewhere (Roonie). He tried his best to care for the young Raven Mystic, but at this point she was completely and mentally lost.

Since the explosion of Darkness, the Goddess Nox isn’t seen so much and the Darkness powers within aren’t used as often, as if she exhausted it with the madness. zoda’s mind is a bit mixed up and lost at times, feeling backwards and thoughtless. She has got a better grasp on thought though, as time goes on, but once in awhile she will drop back into a strange manic brokenness. For the most part she is good, though there are things that will trigger her.

As she slowly heals, her friends trying to take her out into the world again, her brain mends slowly, but she’s not the same. In moments where she starts to completely lose it, Zon (Nox, backwards, Xon) comes out, emotionless and calm and takes over for a while. After some strange dreams and a long conversation with the delusional but calm Zon, she had learned, or at least decided that Roonie and Crotter aren’t dead and she has to find her friends, somehow. Though her friends think it’s a wild goose chase, they still go out with her in search for their lost comrades.

That they are out there, in the dark somewhere, and she can feel it.

From one of these searches is where I will take her, alone at night, hearing the words for help. “Save us” they called out, and for a moment she thought it was Roonie, gladly going to find him. Though once there she will be fine with helping. Wanting to try and get herself back as she does help.

In short, her personality is that of a broken warrior, willing to do the hard work, wishing to help people and save her friends. She's a caring young woman who has been through a lot in her short life. She's a bit reckless at times when it's needed but tends to take care so not to hurt others.

First Person/Action brackets:
[Typed out, and very carefully done, the woman isn’t sure on the device, so she’s careful.]

These talk. Communication. Devices.

Interesting.

They type too. Like phones? I never had a phone like this though.

Day One; New Place. New device. Tech tends to be bad back at home, so I am either not at home or in the Robotica strong hold, and seeing as there are books, I doubt the later. Earth than? Maybe. It’s been sometime. Gravity feels a bit different here. Smells different too. Maybe there is coffee. Haven’t had that in ages.

Having doubts about this being Earth though. it doesn’t smell right either. Feels wrong. Gravity is right though, for Earth that is. Still waiting for something to pop out with a gun or try to fry me. Warning: I can deal with your robotics. Not that I am seeing any…

I am posting this to see if there are others. Trapped? Are we? No… doesn’t feel like a trap. Came to try and save someone. Hello? If you still need help please reply to this?

I am here to help.

Third Person/Prose:
(This was what was on the TDM but I took it down)

[1 - Arrival:]
Zoda sat in an alcove, in the dark, drawn back with a black wing cape folded around her, the raven mask and headdress she wore hiding her as bright green eyes stared out it. In the distance she could hear the guards of the tower call out to her, searching for her by name. The darkness around her seemed to darken as she slid back more. She didn’t want to take more medication. She didn’t want to be lead to a meditation room. She didn’t want to be watched with eyes of concern, over and over again. None of it was making her feel better. What made her feel better was getting out. Doing what she used to do.

Thus when she heard something whisper in the dark to save them, she perked up, and hunted for the sound. “Where… where is voice?” She asked at first, then blinked, shaking her head a bit to fix that comment. “Where… are… you?” She asked the whispers, suddenly coming out of hiding and frantically looking. If someone needed help, that was what she was there to do. A warrior of the lands, cooped up and lost in her mind, but still there.

Still wanting to help.

When she turned again she looked up at a sky full of stars, eyes going wide behind a large raven headdress. The woman was pretty tiny, around five foot four and slender, dressed in a brown leather tanned dress but with dingy gray and purple striped stockings. Bare feet flexed and rolled on the ground, feeling the cold tiles there as if still in the tower of hope but not at all the same.

If you don’t catch her soon, she’ll take off running, exploring. Looking for the whispers. For where she was. A large looking raven woman with long slender clawed ‘hands’. Or, upon better glance, a girl in feathers, gloves and leather armor.

[2 - Market Place:]
In the marketplace, Zoda has her powers back in full, able to transform with ease here, shifting to a very large raven form and floating around in the market. She perches on the front of a store front, waiting, watching. In the grasslands and port cities the locals tended to toss hungry animals food now and again, and Zoda, unsure about currency was waiting, looking to see if anyone would toss feed out.

If you happen to be in the Marketplace at the same time, the old timey renaissance style one with the plague doctors around, well, you might be being watched, depending on how you are dressed when there. She’s got a good idea for people who don’t match the location, after all, she doesn’t match, except for when she’s in her bird form.

[3 - Out to Dinner:]
She’s not sure where she ended up, but it seemed like a train car with a brilliant dining hall inside of it. The people who were there were well made up in fancy elegant old attire, things she had seen from old television and movies. The train itself flew through space, off the rails and just moved it’s own path. People milled about and chatted, not caring that this young native looking girl appeared. She had no wings or claws on and no headdress for a change. Instead she was cleaned up, her hair braided and wrapped around her neck to hide the long round scars there. She was dressed still in leathers and no shoes, but no one seemed to mind.

A tall man with a mustache and short coat suit came to her and bowed, offering to take her to her seat. “Which car do you reside in, miss?” She blinked, glancing around, then shrugging. “I don’t remember.” She lied, and the man said “Well than… this way.” And lead her to a elegant little table that was attached to the train car wall. Outside the window was a beautiful field of stars and darkness. It was comforting.

At the table sat someone else. Someone from the library that she hadn’t met yet. Being asked to take a seat here she did, green eyes looking sharply at the person before her, trying to decide who it was or if she knew yet at all. It didn’t matter, they were someone she saw in the other place at least. “‘ello…”
